We are sad to announce the passing of Gary Wayne Smith of Imperial, Missouri. He died at the age of 69, born 8/5/1954 and passed away 3/5/2024. He was surrounded by many loved ones after a long medical battle. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Faith and retired from Midwest Medical Supply. He treasured his family and his faith in God. He enjoyed wood working, eagles, sports, and fishing.
Survived by his wife, Regina Deal Smith. They were married at Tower Groves Baptist Church on July 26, 1975, having 48 years of marriage and 52 years together; his son Brian Mathew Smith; grandchildren, Caleb Ashton Smith-Hutsler, Kylie Alyssa Smith, Cade Mathew Henry Smith, and J.T. Foran; three brothers, Kevin (Alberta) Smith, Bob Smith, and Danny (Tom) Smith; two sisters, Sheila (Mike) Wright and Susie Smith; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren Smith and Maxine Jaco Smith and his Father & Mother-in-law, Cletis and Juanita Moss Deal.
SERVICES: Visitation 11am Monday, March 11, 2024 until time of service at 12pm Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. Interment to follow in St. Trinity Cemetery.
Pall Bearers are Alexander Smith, Wesley Smith, Aaron Wright, Joe Wright, Bernie Thein, Tom Whitworth, and Anthony Bergmann.
In lieu of flowers, Gary's final wish was that donations be made to Regina Smith to help offset living costs.
