Elnora Lee Moring, age 97, of Festus, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Mercy Hospital. Mrs. Moring spent years in the in nursing field as a Med-Technician. She enjoyed her church family at First Christian Church in Festus. She loved spending time listening to books on tape, learning and telling jokes to the members of her family, and laughing and playing with her grandchildren. Elnora was born April 16, 1926 in Caraway, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Louie and Fred Mangrum. She is survived by her children: Jerry Moring (Debbie Buck) of Mehlville, MO., Elaine (Steve) Johnson of Davenport, Iowa, Debra (Harry) Meyer of Bloomsdale, MO., Linda (Gene) Higgins of Festus, MO., Brenda Baynes of Festus, MO. and Jeff (Kim) Moring of Festus, MO.; Fourteen grandchildren: Michelle, Jeremy, Courtney, Jennifer, James, Jason, Stephanie, Brandi, Brian, LeAnna, Jocelyn, Christi, David and Derek; Thirty-one great grandchildren as well as many other friends and family members: Nicky. She was preceded in death by her husband J.L. Moring: a son Ron Moring: son-in-law Johnny Baynes: three brothers: Wilford, Piburn and Arthur Mangrum and one sister Camille Ramsey.
A visitation for Elnora will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service will be celebrated Monday, September 18, 2023,12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old Highway M., Barnhart, MO 63012. Memorial donations in Elnora's Honor may be made to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 415 N. Mill St. Festus, MO 63028.
