In Robs early years he worked in the logging and welding industry and sold a few cars along the way. He loved Darrington, the beautiful mountains and great outdoors (hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and pine cone picking). He shot his first deer at the age of 12 on Segelsen. He loved to go crabbing, clamming and made many trips to Ocean Shores with mom and dad. The highlight of his life was when his son Sean was born. He took him everywhere and they were buddies. Another highlight was learning to scuba dive with his favorite uncle, Roy Bryson. Rob was stubborn at times, honest, likes to joke around and tease. He could be a prankster and had a great sense of humor. In the early days he loved to dress up, hair in place with cowboy boots ready to go. It was so much fun to watch Rob dance! He was a great dancer and enjoyed country music and rock. He loved his family and friends deeply and was always protective of his sister Renae.
He loved to play cribbage and when you played the wrong hand he would lift that eyebrow so to say "Really"? He had an excellent, long term memory remembering several birthdays without a calendar. He enjoyed sharing stories of the old days growing up with his cousins and friends and the many shenanigans they would get into. He enjoyed a good western, action movies and old sitcom classics particularly "Cheers" and watching women's sports.
Rob loved to cook, especially biscuits and gravy, going out for chicken sandwiches, Chinese food and visits to Rhodes River Ranch in Oso. He loved to eat and fry morel mushrooms (thank you Terry Baird, Mike and friends for sharing). Rob also enjoyed his sister's homemade dill pickles, jam and Aunt Dee Dee's homemade tapioca pudding.
Rob loved to make babies giggle and would often imitate "Donald Duck" sounds to get them going. Robby had a big heart and he never liked to tell people goodbye. He would always say "Later" and off he would go with a big smile and wave!
He is preceded in death by his grandparents (Ike and Mary Green and Grandma Bonnie, Ray and Barbara Beauchamp) as well as his parents (Bob and Edna Green) all of Darrington, WA.
