Shirley Boothby Falck

Shirley Boothby Falck passed away peacefully at home on May 31, 2024. Shirley spent her childhood in Tampa, Florida and graduated from Florida State University where she met her husband Peter. They moved to Arlington, Virginia in 1964 where they raised three children and spent the rest of their lives. Shirley loved birds, was an avid gardener, loved the seashore, and her large extended family of nieces and nephews - especially her granddaughter, Elise. She is survived by her three children, Kim, Eric and John; granddaughter, Elise; and by her sister, Patricia Cummings in Indianapolis and half-sister, Joyce Henry in Memphis. Family and friends are invited to join her children in laying her to rest next to her husband Peter this Saturday, June 8, 2024. In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, there will be a graveside service at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201 on Saturday at 10 AM.
