On Monday, January 23rd, 2012 devoted mother of Kathy Brew, Cheryl McCoy, Michael McCoy, and daughter-in-law Darlene McCoy. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved husband George H. McCoy of 48 years. She retired from the Veterans Administration in 1984. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church (6715 Georgetown Pike, McLean VA) on Saturday, January 28 at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Johns Episcopal Church Endowment Fund. Interment will be private at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Arlington Funeral Home, Arlington, VA.
