On Thursday, July 17, 2014, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend died at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA after bravely battling bronchiectasis for six years. Born in Indianapolis, IN on March 18, 1948 and raised in Danville, IN, Bonnie received her B.Ed. from Butler University and her M.Ed. from California State. Resident of McLean and Arlington, VA since 1983, Bonnie worked as a teacher, special educator, and administrator in California and Virginia since 1969. Talented and versatile, she worked in private, public, and Montessori schools. Bonnie was an election volunteer for Arlington County and a member of the International Dyslexia Association and various other educational organizations. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roger, of Arlington, VA; son Dane Lindberg of Arlington, VA and his wife Kristen Kotyk; daughter Jessica Lindberg Coxe of Round Rock, TX and her husband K.C. Coxe; grandchildren Mason Coxe and Katherine Coxe; and brothers Keith Herron and Allen Herron. Visitation will be held at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22203 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
