She was born November 19, 1946 in Daly City, California to Joseph and Wanda (Brickhouse) Watson. She married Hermann L. Acker Jr. on February 22, 1966 in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked as an Administrative Clerk. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She was loved by and will be missed by many. Her favorite pastimes included reading novels, needlepoint, crocheting, shopping, and being with friends.
Survivors include her husband, Hermann Acker; son, Michael Acker; Daughter, Michelle, and husband, Mark, Williams; mother, Wanda Shelton; sisters, Jeanette Hahn, LaWanda Horton, and Bebe Christy; Grandson, Zackery Acker and wife, Amanda; Granddaughter, Cassidy Acker; Great-Grandchildren, Oliver and Amelia Acker; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her Father, Joseph Watson; Step-Father, Alvis Shelton; and Sister, Wanda Watson.
