Valerie P. Thompson

Mrs. Thompson graduated from Winona High School. She worked for LTV in Grand Prairie where she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Charles Thompson in 1992. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Thompson and Robert Beam, of Pantego, TX; Marjorie Gilreath and husband, Danny of Athens, TX.; Susan K. Torres of Arlington; 7 grandchildren, James Hooper of Pantego, TX; Holly and Josh Harris of Athens, TX; Misty and Michael Foissotte of Arlington, TX; Tammy and Daniel Phillips of Athens, TX; Katy Roberts of Athens, TX; Amber Hancock of Arlington, TX; and Daniel Torres of Arlington, TX; 12 great grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Valerie will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arlington Cemetery, 801 S Mary St, Arlington, TX 76010.

Immediately following the graveside service, food and beverage will be served for family and friends at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
