Shari Lynn Shelton was born August 3, 1955 in Colorado City, Texas to Carl Shelton and Evelyn Blackwell Shelton. She passed from this life on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 60. A Remembrance Reception will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home Reception Hall. Friends and family will be invited to share their stories and memories. Shari was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Evelyn Shelton of Knox City, and by her sister Carla Marie Merton of Arlington. She is survived by brother-in-law Robert E. Merton, niece Carley A. Merton, fiancé Pablo Maldonado, nephew Matthew W. Merton and his wife Tabitha and children Piper and Elliott, life partner Brent A. Alexander of Knox City and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
