Raymond Clyde Lambert, born in Arlington, Texas to Iva Ruth and Clyde Lambert on January 26, 1943, peacefully passed away on July 23rd, 2024. Raymond was a devoted husband, cherished father, proud grandfather, adored great-grandfather, and an unwavering fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
He shared 14 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Andra Lambert, in Arlington. Raymond dedicated 37 years of his career to LTV/Vought, where he served as a Superintendent and found not just colleagues but a second family. He often spoke fondly of the friendships forged and the countless memories created during his tenure there.
Raymond was also a dedicated member of the Masonic fraternity, achieving the distinction of Master Mason and marking 50 years of membership with the A&A Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, SJ, USA. His commitment to brotherhood and service was a cornerstone of his life.
A man with a green thumb, Raymond took great pride in his yard and vegetable gardens, creating beautiful landscapes that were a source of joy for him and his family.
Raymond will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Rusty Lambert of Azle; his grandson, Corey Lambert of Azle; his granddaughter, Courtney Robles of Euless; Vince Lambert of Asheville, North Carolina; and his great-granddaughter, Emma Robles of Euless; his brother Harold Lambert of Glen Rose and his sister Barbara Eddings of Denison. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and his son Ricky Lambert.
His legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at Oasis Baptist Church, 1211 E Sublett Rd, Arlington, TX 76018 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society in Raymond's memory.
