Mary was born to Dora and Leonel DeLeon on July 25, 1957 in Wharton, Texas. After graduating high school in Hereford, Texas she joined the United States Army in 1980 and after having her daughter she was honorably discharged in 1982. Mary worked for the American Cancer Society for 21 years before retiring. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
Both her mother and father, her brother and sister precede her in death.
Surviving is her daughter Veronica, son in law Edward, one grandson Alejandro, one granddaughter Arabella, sisters Carmen and Linda and several nieces and nephews.
A rosary for Mary Jane will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, Texas 76016. A visitation will occur Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, Texas 76016.
A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St Michael The Archangel Catholic Church, 2910 Corn Valley Rd, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:15 PM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
