Linda Kaye Reed

Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers you may choose to send donations to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Linda was born Nov. 19, 1942, in Austin to Warren and Winnie Ables Crawford. She attended San Angelo Central High School and later attended Texas Tech University.

Linda held various secretarial positions at several companies including Penrod Drilling Company where she met her husband, Thomas Reed. They married on Aug. 22, 1976.

After living in West Texas for seven years, they settled in Arlington and have lived there for the last 28 years.

Linda's love for children led her to her favorite position at St. Stephens Children's Center with the Mother's Day Out Program.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father and stepfather.

Survivors: Husband, Thomas Reed; mother, Winnie Jenkins; her sister, Jill Jenkins Rawls (Drew); nieces, Kaytlyn and Lyndsey Kaye; nephew, Devin; many cousins, aunts and uncles; and extended family, Bill and Mary Minsloff and their children, Linda Marie, Lisa and Jon.
