Larry Darrell Harmon

Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington.

Darrell was born June 8, 1958, in Fort Worth. He grew up in Euless and graduated from Trinity High School. He was an assembler at the GM plant in Arlington where he later retired.

Darrell was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed woodcrafting and playing pool and, most of all, loved fishing at Lake Whitney with family members and friends.

Darrell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Stella Speegle, and Noel Harmon; stepfather, Gaylon Hightower; uncles, Joel Harmon, James Harmon, Walter Thomas and Doug Akins; and aunt, Sylvia McGuffin.

Survivors: His wife, Cheryl; his parents, Pat Hightower and Lee Harmon and stepmother, Norma; son, L. Darrell Harmon Jr.; stepson, Brandon Arnold; daughters, Destinee' Harmon, Chasity Fry, Britainy Land, Katie Harmon; stepdaughter, Meagan Arnold; brother, David Harmon; sisters, Debbie Clark and husband, Ronny, and Donna Harmon; grandmother, Wilma Holland; granddaughter, Payton Lynn; nephews, Larry Clark and family, Andy Malone and family; mother-in-law, Ruby Kinsey; sisters-in-law, Dawn and Denise; and his extended family of cousins, aunts and uncles.
