Kevin Vogt, 58, of Brownwood Texas, formerly of Arlington Texas, passed away March 17, 2023. He was born in Dallas Texas on January 28, 1965. Kevin graduated from Sam Houston High School in May 1987.
He found great joy in music and especially loved John Denver and the Grease soundtrack. When living in Austin he loved competing in the Special Olympics Equestrian Competition and won three first place ribbons at the Austin Rodeo. He enjoyed his career at Red Lobster which he retired from after 20 years of service. He never met a stranger and was quick to give hugs to everyone he met, especially the ladies. He taught his family what true unconditional love looked like.
He was preceded by death by his father Gerald Vogt. He was survived by his mother, Rachael Vogt of Brownwood Texas, brother Brian Vogt of Brownwood, Texas and sister Tonya Vogt of Columbus Ohio, nephew and niece Kannon and India Vogt of Brownwood Texas and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday March 23, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held from 10:00AM – 11:00AM on Friday March 24, 2023 at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 11:00AM -12:00PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
