Katherine Lucille Thompson

She was born on March 28, 1942, in Ladonia, TX to Thomas and Hazel Bearden.

A graduate of Grand Prairie High School in 1960, Katherine went on to work on circuit boards for Texas Instruments and as a reception for Analytical Food Labs. When she had a moment to herself, she loved sewing, spending time with her dog, but nothing brought her more joy than surrounding herself with her family whom she loved dearly. They were her pride and joy.

Katherine is survived by her brother Thomas Hardy, Jr. and wife Vida Bearden of Grand Prairie, son David Thompson of Grand Prairie, daughters Deborah Thompson of Grand Prairie and Donna Pennell and husband Neal Pennell of Irving, grandchildren Amber Risley of Midlothian, Nolan Pennell of San Antonio, and Rusti Thompson of Grand Prairie, and Taren Pennell of Keller, and six great grandchildren Sawyer, Kaleb, Eli, Addalyn, Kennedi, and Andersen, as well as many other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis, Arlington, TX 76012 with a committal service to be held at 2:00 p.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
