The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30th from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home South Chapel.
James “Jim” Rodney Williams, age 58, passed away on 07/23/2024 in Arlington, Texas.
On October 16, 1965, he was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He was raised by his parents, Sonny and Sue Williams. Jim was raised in Arlington, Texas, and attended James Bowie and Sam Houston High School, graduating in 1984.
He was married to Clarissa, and they had one child. Jim's dedication to his work was evident in his role as a Responsible Master Plumber and Owner of Jim Williams Plumbing, a career he pursued for 38 years.
Jim's love for his family and friends was immeasurable. He found joy in traveling, fishing, and attending concerts with them. His warm and welcoming nature meant he never met a stranger or a casino he didn't like. He took great pleasure in spoiling his wife, daughter, son-in-law, nieces and nephews, and, of course, his brother, sister, and mom.
His family and friends always remember him as a generous, fun-loving spirit. He was always the life of the party. He always had a funny video or TikTok. He was a community pillar and had a heart for giving back. He was honest and had integrity on every occasion. His love for living life to the fullest was unmatched.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Williams.
Jim is survived by wife Clarissa Williams, Mother Sue Williams, brother Brian Williams, sister Andrea Cox, stepdaughter Emily Miller, and son-in-law Chance Miller.
Nephews: Blake Williams, Gage Winkle, and wife Rachel. Nieces: Breja Williams, Kylee Moore, and Myja Williams. Great Nieces Ella and Rubi. Brother-in-law Patrick Armstrong and wife Beth, brother-in-law Ben Armstrong and Wife Mary Lou, Sister-in-Law Sara McGaughy and husband Kevin, Sister-in-Law Katie Inman, Sister-in-Law Amy Nagel and husband Rich, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jim had numerous lifelong friends from elementary, middle, and high school. He loved them fiercely, and if he ever considered you a friend, you would be forever in his fold.
Committal Services will take place following the Celebration of Life in Moore Memorial Gardens.
