Hazel Dean Bryant

Funeral: 12:30 P.M. Friday at Moore Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Pastors Casey Perry and Bobby Bridges. Pallbearers: Kenneth Atchison, Jason Tillman, Willie Manell, Curtis Gilbert, Mark Mosley and Ross Clark.

Hazel was born on November 12, 1922 in Direct, TX. She was a member of Hillcrest Park Baptist Church for 35 years and is a member of Mayfield Road Baptist Church. Hazel and her husband of 37 years, Harmon H. Bryant, spent 20 summers vacationing in Colorado, hiking, camping and enjoying nature. Her other favorite activities included being involved with church, quilting, crafts, gardening, and traveling. She loved the Lord and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Hazel was preceded in death by her mother, Lora Belle Hilton and father, Callie Elmore Plumly; brother, Odell Plumly; and sisters, Loretta Alarcon and Lois Wilkerson.

Survivors include her husband, Harmon H. Bryant; children, Deloris Dye and husband, John, Katherine Clark and husband, Richard, Christine Zwierzynski and husband, Kenneth, Lyon Gomillion and Brenda Watson, Lisa Gilbert and husband, Curtis, Dwight Thompson and wife, Peggy, Wayland Thompson, David Bryant and wife, Susan; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
