Glenn Walter Showers, age 73, of Mansfield Texas passed away on Thursday October 10th, 2024, surrounded by family. Glenn was born on Saturday July 28th, 1951 in Roswell New Mexico to Thomas and Pauline Showers and raised in an Air Force family.
He was married to Anne Showers in 1972 and the couple had 3 children.
Glenn retired from Radio Shack after 33 years of service to the company.
He graduated from UTA with a Masters in Public Administration in 2014.
In his spare time he enjoyed volunteering for the Red Cross and YMCA of the Rockies. He was an avid cyclist and assistant trail steward at River Legacy Park.
He leaves his bride of 52 years Anne; Three Children Dianna Cremeans (Spouse; Brent), Michelle Chap (Spouse: Roatha), and Christopher Showers (Spouse: Madeline). Three Grandchildren Kiri, Logan, and Amelia. He also leaves behind sister; Barbara Holmes and brother Brian Showers (spouse: Linda) along with a nephew and several nieces.
Glenn will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, relative, friend, and colleague to all that knew and cared for him. Glenn will be truly missed by many relatives and friends, cherishing all the good memories with him.
