Funeral: Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, 6102 West Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington.
Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Road, Arlington.
Visitation: Monday, December 6, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born September 1, 1929, in Cooper, TX to Aubrey and Ruby Bryan. She had been a resident of Arlington since 1952 and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Dorothy loved the Lord, her family, and many friends. She served the Lord in many ways. She and her late husband, Stewart, spent many hours volunteering for Mission Printing after they retired. She helped with the church card ministry to send cards of birthday wishes, comfort, and condolences.
Dorothy was preceded in death by Stewart, her husband of 65 years; son, Edward Whittington; her parents and 3 sisters, Ruth Woolaver, Mattie Harlow, and Ann Bryan; 2 brothers, Wayne Bryan and John Bryan.
Survivors: Daughter, Judy Marshall; daughter-in-law, Sharon Whittington; granddaughter, Whitney Mankin and her husband Ian Mankin; sister-in-law, Juanelle Gillespie; brother-in-law, Bill Woolaver; sister-in-law, Virginia Bryan and nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, and great-great nieces/nephews.
