Dee was born December 23, 1937 in Layfayette La, the youngest of five children to Robert and Vivian Durio. Her family relocated to San Antonio, where she met and later married Brian Jordan. They had three daughters, Cynthia, Carla and Christi. A widow, she raised her daughters on her own.
We lost our precious Mama too soon. She was vivacious, beautiful, strong, feisty, outspoken, classy, hilarious, charming, silly, sassy, sweet, very independent and loved her family fiercely. She collected giraffes for many years and loved her chickens in her kitchen.
She was never happier than when she had her kids and grandkids around her. She loved birthday celebrations with family but most of all we think she loved the gifts!! She loved flowers, music, her little acre, her family, Tom Selleck and her beloved Dallas Cowboys.
She was the matriarch of our family and we thought we would have more time with her, but God called her home to reunite with loved ones that preceded her in death. We hope they are rejoicing in heaven, singing and dancing. We so wish we could have a Corona Light with you and more hugs!!
She is taking deep breaths now and her body is healed but we miss her something awful. We miss her hugs, laughter, the sound of her voice and her sense of humor. We love you (Mama, Mother, Little Mommy, Grandmother Dee, MomMom, Gramma, Grams and Bad Bud). You will live on in all of our hearts.
Dee was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Brian Jordan, daughter, Carla McEntire and two sisters, Edna and Nettie.
