David Lee Brown, 77, of Arlington, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Moore Memorial Gardens. No public visitation is planned.
David was born January 17, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to William Brown and Ruby Mae Odel Brown. He was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School and attended U.T.A. David married Roberta A. “Bobbie” Nycum on June 27, 1959 in Dallas. He served in the United States Army for seven years and was honorably discharged August 9, 1962. David worked at L.T.V. (now Lockheed Martin) for 36 years as a graphic artist. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had a passion for history and sports.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Bobbie Brown of Arlington, son, Kevin K. Brown of Arlington, daughter, Cheree Rooney and her husband Mike of Bridgeport, and one brother, Bill Brown of Dallas.
