Concepcion (Connie) Montalvo, 86, of Grand Prairie, Texas loving Christian wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 after a long battle with dementia in Lewisville, Texas. Connie was born on September 15, 1938 in Dilley, Texas to Encarnacion
and Eginia Esqueda Rodriguez.
She met the love of her life Antonio (Tony) Montalvo through her youngest brother. Connie and Tony were married on August 28, 1960. They began their life together in Dilley Texas and later moved to Illinois and returned to Texas and settled in Grand Prairie where Connie served as a Eucharist minister at Immaculate Conception Church and was a longtime volunteer at the Wellness Center. She was also an Associate of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
She was the foundation of her family and kept in contact with her nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Antonio Montalvo, parents and siblings: Pilar Garcia, Rosa Castillo, Isabel Luna, Frances Torres, Concepcion Rodriguez, Severo Rodriguez, and Abel Rodriguez. She is survived by children: Belia, and Beatrice and husband Eric. At the time of her passing she was the grandmother to whom she adored: Tony, Alexandria, Emylee and Ethan. And six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation on behalf of Connie Montalvo.
