Born on January 30, 1922 in Hermleigh, TX to John Black and Bertha Tillman, Cleo was a great domino player, loved to cook her famous “chicken fried steaks” and watch the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was wonderful to her nieces and nephews. Cleo was truly loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings: Viola, Henry, Marie, Ovella, and Preach.
Survivors: her brother: J. G. Black; her children: Bobby and Sherry Crabtree, Sharon and Dick Pils, Rhonda and Danny Lynn; grandchildren: Dawn and James Halstead, Lareasa and Tim Philpot, Dustin and Whitney Lynn, Robert and Louisa Nail, Missy and Travis Grigsby; great-grandchildren: Austin Philpot, Aaron Philpot, Josh Grigsby, Boone Grigsby and Sean Nail.
