Catherine Elizabeth Silva

Catherine Elizabeth Burn Silva, born November 25, 1952 in Belize City, Belize, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on October 21,2021. Preceded in death by her husband, Orlando Silva. She is survived by her daughters Giselle, 40, and Nicole, 36, grandchildren, Jose, 24, Elisa, 23, Catalina, 19, Trinidad, 17 and Nathaniel, 11 and one great granddaughter Carmen, 4. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

For Catherine, her family was the most important part of her life. She made sure to keep the tradition of Sunday dinners, cooking everyone's favorite dish. Later in life, she pursued her Associate's degree and became a paralegal.

Anyone who thinks of Catherine, will say that she had a smile that would light up a room. And, if good music was playing you could find her on the dance floor. Catherine will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. The abundance of love and support after her passing is a true reflection of the impact she had on her family and friends.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm with Visitation to follow from 6:30-8:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Moore Bowen Road Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, November 5, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1927 SW Green Oaks, Arlington, TX 76017.
