Carrie Mae (NAMA) White McDonald was born April 5, 1958 to parents Milard (Miller) John Henry White & Theola (Johnson) White. Carrie attended Booker T. Washington, then was bused to John A. Kooken Elementary School, went to Dora E. Nichols Middle School, and graduated from Lamar High School in 1976.
She met Robert McDonald Jr. in March 1982, then married December 22, 1989.
Carrie passed from this life to the next on January 11, 2022. Preceeded in death by her oldest daughter, Alicia Marie Ingram, and parents, Milard John Henry and Theola Johnson-White.
Leaving to mourn her passing, her husband, Robert (Bob) McDonald, their daughters, Jacqueline Sheri Ingram, her children Tariq Gay of Haslet, Texas, Tatyana Gay and son and Tyra Gay and her children of Fort Worth,Texas; Misty Dawn Garland of Fort Worth,Texas; their sons, Robert Dewon McDonald (wife, Felicia), their children Dasani and Da’Odyssey of Pensacola, Florida; their daughter Brianna McDonald, her son, Chabari of Selma, Alabama; and Christopher McDonald (wife, Melinda), their children, Terrance Hamilton and Melinda McDonald of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and their children; her brother, John White (wife, Jeanette) of San Francisco, California; her brothers, Miller White Jr. (wife, LaDonna) and Napoleon (Neal) White of Arlington, Texas; her sister, Mattie Horn (husband, Richard) of Haslet, Texas; her sisters, Velma White and Priscilla White of Fort Worth, Texas; her sister Gloria Hocking (husband, Steve) of Denton, Texas; her sisters, LuShannon White-Jones and Ginalola Kuykendal of Arlington, TX; and a host of many other family members and friends.
A visitation for Carrie will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A committal service will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
