Services for Carolyn Corbett, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, who passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00 am at Lamar Baptist Church in Arlington. Pastor Kevin Moore from Lamar Baptist will officiate. Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 31, from 6 – 8 pm at Moore Funeral Home. Carolyn was born December 10, 1943, to Nevis and Katherine Patterson. She eventually met and married the love of her life, Billy Bob Corbett and they shared fifty years of marriage. Carolyn worked for seventeen years doing accounting work for the Texas Rangers baseball team. She loved music, her family, and she loved the Lord. She will be dearly missed. Mrs. Corbett is survived by her loving husband, Billy Bob; two daughters: Renee Lankford and Robyn Corbett; Grandsons: Kevin Lankford and Garrison Hogue; a sister Joni Thurmond and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn’s name to Lamar Baptist Church, 1000 West Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76012.
