Barbara Cunningham

She was born in Mineral Wells, Texas on December 6, 1943 to Henry and Ressie Johnson. Barbara graduated from Lawton High School.

Barbara married the love of her life James Edward Cunningham on August 25, 1985. For over 30 years, she co-owned and worked at Southwest Helicopter Service. She enjoyed church, her pets and cooking, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family.

She is survived by her grandson, Matthew Johnson; brother, Jack Johnson; son-in-law, Edward Johnson; niece, Regina Canup Moore; nephew Brian Johnson; great nieces and nephews, Brandon Canup, Kristen Carter, Britany Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, and Brelin Johnson; great-great nieces and nephews, Levi Canup, Ava Canup, Dru Kimmons, Evan Canup, and Vivian Canup.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. A burial service will occur Monday, August 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
