Walter R Czarny

Walter was born in Chicago on July 22, 1933, to parents Walter and Rose Czarny. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Walter married Carmella LaPore and spent many wonderful years together prior to her death on March 23, 2003.

Walter is survived by his children, Ronald (Cory) Czarny, Denise (the late Michael) Connor, Walter (Karen) Czarny, Lynn (Robert) Proksa, and Pamela (Jack) McGee, his grandchildren, Christopher (Emy Konrath) Czarny, Katherine (Kim Mecikalski) Czarny, Mike Connor, James Connor, Erika (Philip) Mescher, Max Czarny, Mary Czarny, April (Josh) Banko, Ashley Proksa, Brittany (Joey) White, Austin Enno, and Madeline (Mitch) Koehler, and his great-grandchildren, Avery, Owen, Madison, Lucy, JJ, Clara, Levi, and another baby boy on the way.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carmella Czarny, his sister Marion, and his brother Ray.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 10 a.m. to time of Funeral 11:30 a.m. all at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.

Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
