Sylvia excelled at her job as a US Customs secretary and was by extension, an avid traveller herself! While going to new and exciting places, Sylvia was always accompanied by her loving daughter, Judy, who sadly preceded her in death.
Sylvia will be remembered for her great love for her family. She always was happy to see her cherished cousin, Sharon Weber, her caring son-in-law, Gregory Hock, and many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sylvia's honor may be made to Save-A-Pet.

A visitation for Sylvia will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 3-6pm at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 10am at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, immediately followed by a committal service at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
