This is Marilyn Clare Sebastian Robbins, born in Chicago on October 16, 1938. Daughter of William and Clare Sebastian. I have lived a life of grace, thankfulness, joy and music because of all of you, my dear ones. I left this life on August 23, 2024 but will always be connected with you.
My loving family includes my deceased husband Jim Robbins and my children Danny (Nicole Wiesner), Amy (Rob Speek) and Alyssa (Lacy Hawkins). Kiara, Mika and Markus Speek are my cherished grandchildren.
I’ve been blessed with four brothers: the late Bill (Jeannie) Sebastian, Doc (Jan) Sebastian, Bob (Michele) Sebastian and Jim (Jan) Sebastian. Several delightful nieces and nephews have shared my journey too.
Friends, staff and colleagues at St. Edna, Mary Seat of Wisdom, St. Alphonsus Liguori, St. Martin, my Franciscan community and fellow music makers have all brought me nourishment of spirit.
You are invited to raise your voices in praise and celebration with my family on Saturday, August 31 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights at 12:00 PM. A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, August 30 at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Interment private.
