John Francis Regan, 98, was born on October 13, 1925, in Chicago, to John and Nora Regan. He died Thursday, 05/09/2024 at Northwest Community Hospital, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Mr. Regan served in the US Navy during WWII and worked for many years as an upholstery fabric salesman, finishing his career with Richard Pick & Heller before he retired.
He'll be remembered as being a great guy, always upbeat and a delight to spend time with. John told everyone he was 19 years old until he reached 40. He was a car collector and builder, a master woodworker, and a train enthusiast.
John is survived by his children, John Regan and Marybeth (Todd) Neely; his brother, Thomas Regan, and his sister, Margaret Mooney Quinn.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Colette Regan; and his parents.
