George A. White, of Arlington Heights, IL and Phoenix AZ passed away on May 21st , 2024 in the home he built for his family in the early ‘70s. George was born in Chicago, Il on September 10th, 1936 to the late George and Helen (Spitzock) White. George had a long and successful career as a Master Plumber and formed his own company after working for his father in the trade. George loved to run, first at his beloved Lane Tech High School and then later for the University of Chicago Track Club and ACEs Soccer Teams. He was happiest with a fishing pole in his hand with sons and grandchildren by his side.
He is survived by his loving bride of over 68 years, Margaret White and his four sons, Daniel (Sally), Donald (Carol), Douglas (Gina) and David (Renee), sister Judy (Ron), brothers James (Therese), John, brother’s in laws Ronald Sol and Ronald Peacock, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren .
A Memorial service will be held at 10:00am-noon, followed by a reception at Lauterburg-Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL
