Francesco Parente

Franco was born in Mola di Bari, Italy on June 18, 1941, to parents Angelo and Rosa (nee Grisanzio) Parente. He met Maria Berardi in 1969 and the couple were married the next year on September 7, 1970. He moved to Chicago with Maria and raised their three sons there. He was an electrician who worked hard to provide for his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Maria Parente, his sons, Angelo (Catherine) Parente, John (Rosa) Parente, and Frank (Gina) Parente, and his grandchildren, Conrad (Sarah), Frankie, Mackenzie, Giovanni, and Alessia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Nicola Parente, and Pietro Parente.

Visitation will be Monday, November 18, 2024, at 9 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m., all at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 S Meier Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056.

Entombment to follow Mass at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
