Danilo Alcantara Sandiko

Dan was an Electrical Engineer who worked in the IT field. He was an IT manager in the Philippines and when he moved to the US he studied Oracle programming. He worked for the company that provided the software for emissions testing.

He was a man of very few words and soft spoken. He was a kind, good and gentle person. He was very patient and very easy to get along with. He would generally go along with any of the activities but if he really did not want to, he would say no and that was final.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan and his siblings: Rolly (Stella), Dindo, Sandra, Ronnie (Julie), Rodel (Joy), Sarina (Austin), Sonia and numerous nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dinsaldo and Lydia and his sister, Susan.

A visitation for Danilo will be held Monday, December 16, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, followed by a memorial mass from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Danilo's honor to a charity of your choice.
