Pamela Grace Horne

Pamela Grace Horne, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Pam was born in High Point, January 21, 1954, a daughter of the late Howard Raymond Turney and Frances Betty Hodges Turney. She ran a daycare at her home for many years before getting her associates degree in early childhood education from GTCC, where she graduated with honors. Pam then worked at the Salvation Army daycare for several years. She was preceded in death by her life partner, Terry Lee Luther.

Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Duty (Brian) and Melissa Bailey (Bruce); three grandchildren, Gage Rose, Declan Bailey and Abby Bailey; four sisters, Patricia Owen, Penny Cross (Tom), Paula Adams and Peggy Millett; a brother, Jimmy Turney (Michelle); several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Guil-Rand Memorial Park, 1550 NC HWY 62, West, High Point, NC 27263.
