Elsie H. Huffman, age 87, of Trinity, North Carolina went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Elsie was born August 11, 1937 in Guilford County, a daughter of the late Claude Marvins and Treva Alene Lane Hutchens.
Elsie was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church of Greensboro,NC. She was an amazing cook, who loved working and car racing. Elsie worked as a press operator for Royal Developments for many years. Preceded in Elsie's death was her loving husband; Paul Wesley Huffman, her daughter; Kimberly D. Hoskins and her sister; Stella Staley.
Surviving are Elsie's two sons; Thurman Ray Huffman and David Eugene Huffman, a daughter; Paula K. Elkins, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Elsie will be held Friday October 4, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Advantage Funerals and Cremations in Archdale,NC, officiated by Pastor Allan Van Meter. Inurnment will follow after the service at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 5120 Burlington Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
