Alleine Marie Van Dyke, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, just days shy of her 95th birthday. Known for her gentle voice and kind spirit, Alleine touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her fiercely independent nature and warm heart welcomed all who crossed her path, leaving a lasting impression that will be cherished by her family and friends.
Alleine is survived by her three devoted children, ten adoring grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.
Throughout her life, Alleine was characterized by her deep love for family and her adventurous spirit. She enjoyed many joyful travels with her late husband, Bob, creating memories that will be cherished forever. A talented crocheter, she crafted thoughtful gifts for those she cared about, and she found solace in the pages of a good book. In her later years, she found happiness in simple pleasures—watching game shows, completing word searches and dot-to-dot puzzles, and occasionally sharing a baseball game with her son-in-law.
Professionally, Alleine dedicated herself to her career as a Bookkeeper and later served as an Accounting Supervisor for Sears in El Monte, California, where her expertise and dedication shone through.
A memorial service to celebrate Alleine's remarkable life will be held on September 26, 2024, at 11 AM, followed by a graveside service. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
