We remember him do well from when we lived on Germany. We remember especially our times together in North Carolina. He was always so friendly. Wolfgang and Inge introduced us to fondue! We had such good times together.

I owe a big part of my where I am to Wolf. He was the one that encouraged me to take the step into Validation and I thought I was going to see him cry the first (possibly only) time he reviewed one of my protocols and couldn’t find a mistake. Wolf is also responsible for the time I think I was the coldest in my entire life. Strangely, it was not our trip to Canada. It was a trip to Florida but I’m so glad he talked me into snorkeling with the manatees in March. 

I’m so sorry for you loss, Inge. Wolf meant so much to all of us. 

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Hello Inge,

it is with great sadness that we have heard of Wolfgang's passing. He was a great friend all through University. We had lot's of fun on our motorcycle tour through Crete and back to Munich. He was always honest (just as we like it) and had always the right answer.

Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

We will miss him. But for us he is not gone, he just rode off into the sunset.

Wolfgang was a colleague, a car-pool buddy and a friend from our time at Eisai, to Biogen and then Medicago.  I shall always know he positively impacted my life by sharing his knowledge, experiences, humor, and generosity.  

Inge – my deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes to out to you and the family and wishing that you find some peace in loving memories. 
 
Wolfgang, may you be in a place where you have acres and acres to hunt and a hot pool for relaxing.  I miss you my friend, rest in peace!


Wolfgang was the consummate professional and an even better person.  He was never too busy to listen and offer support.  I miss his laugh and smile already.  Rest in peace my friend.  Save me a seat at the bar.

So sorry to hear about the loss of  Wolfgang. I worked with him at Eisai and he always had a smile on his face and a good sense of humor. Our prayers go out to his family at this time.

You left way too soon, but we were allowed to be a part of your life for so long and you are forever a part of our lives.
No one spent more time with you than Inge, as you wished, and we will gladly continue the coming time with Inge in your spirit as well.

I did not know Wolfgang but know Inge. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Inge, during this difficult time. May the fond memories of your many years together ease your pain. 

We were at a Factory Acceptance test for Eisai in Missouri. The team went out for dinner and I looked over and Wolfie had his beer between his legs. I was like what the heck and he turned to me and said "Your beer is to cold in America". Now every time I get a warm beer, I think this is the way Wolfie would like it. I am going to miss him!

I am praying for the family and wishing you strength during this incredibly difficult time. 

I worked with Wolfgang at Eisai and at Biogen. I will remember him always as exceptionally smart and incredibly kind, with a great sense of humor.  Not long ago, I was trying to think of some of the best validation people I had worked with for a current job opening, and Wolfgang immediately came to mind. 

Wolfgang — may you Rest In Peace. You will be missed by so many of us, but you have left a positive imprint in our hearts. 

I had the pleasure of working with Wolfgang at Biogen. Once at lunch I was telling him about a recent trip to Germany and how much I loved the curry wurst I had discovered in Berlin. A few weeks later, out of the blue, he came to my desk with a few packets of powdered curry wurst complete with German instructions! This was the type of person he was. Kind, thoughtful, funny. Sending love and support to those close to him. He will be missed.

I remember a long time ago when Wolfgang started working with us as a validation contractor at Eisai.  We quickly became friends, and shared a lot of lunches and laughs.  

He was the perfect mix of intelligence, humor, and kindness and it was a pleasure getting to know him.  

When Eisai got a new cook (Peter), I was lucky enough (...smart!) to go through the lunch line after Wolfgang.  Peter and Wolfgang would speak in German, usually with Wolfgang getting a bigger portion.  They taught me to say 'das gleiche' - roughly translated to English as 'the same', and I benefitted as well! 

The other thing I recently thought of, and laughed, and shared with some friends:  Every so often, Wolfgang would look at the weather in Germany.  It was usually worse than North Carolina.  He would show me the forecast and laugh about it.  I think he really liked the hot weather here.  It makes me laugh as I type this now!

I'm lucky to have met such a great person.  Even though I haven't worked with him recently, I'll really miss Wolfgang.

It was an honor and privilege to have worked with "Herr Mueller", as we affectionately called him, at Eisai.   His stories never failed to put a smile on our faces and laughter in our hearts.   Thank you for the fond memories.

Why share just a memory when my friend still lives as a part of me. From the beginning, the warm friendly welcome in Marburg, never a stranger, always a friend. To new places in Germany,the time in Munchen, the dream of a new start in America, the promises kept to each other. The visit to my Matthew's home by the loving couple, giving away Inge as a surrogate father to her friend, lover, companion Wolfgang, my friend in their Marriage ceremony performed in my backyard, the fresh start, the New career, all was new and possible. He still lives as he was Inge young, smart, endearing to us all.

My condolences to the Mueller family and his friends. I was fortunate to work with Wolfgang at Eisai and Biogen. He was a kind spirit, a dedicated employee and very easy to work with. So sorry for your loss. 

I am so sorry to hear about Wolfgang's passing.  We were work colleagues and I always thought very highly of him, both professionally and personally.  I offer my condolences and hopes to you for peace.

I first met Wolfgang on a project for Eisai. Wolfgang was such a gentle person and always had a smile  to share. It was a pleasure  and honor knowing him and having him as a coeworker. He will certainly be missed. RIP Wolfgang!!

Wolfgang and Inge were neighbors to my husband's brother's family.  They all became such good friends.  Whenever there was a family function/party Wolfgang and Inge were sure to be there, that's how Shane and I got to know them. We always thought Wolfgang was fun to hang around with. Once our daughter spend the night with them when they had family in from Germany and I learned how he and Inge used to do lots of traveling while sleeping on a mattress in the back of a van!  How cool is that?!? You went too early, Wolfgang...  Inge, our hearts have been heavy for you, wish you didn't have to go through this.  Prayers for you hon.

I’m deeply saddened to hear about Wolfgang’s passing.  I worked with him at Eisai, and remember him as always smiling and friendly to everyone.  He will be kept in many hearts as someone special and valued.

I’m so sorry to hear off your loss. I worked with Wolfgang at Eisai and he was a dear friend.  Wolfgang could always make us laugh while our group would have breakfast and lunch together. I will be praying for you and your family as your grieve your loss. 

So sorry for your loss Inge.  Both you and Wolfgang have been very dear friends of mine. So many times Wolfgang and Inge were There for me. I have appreciated our friendship through the years.
