Sandra Jean Wright

Sandra was born September 14, 1947 in Claremont, NH to the late Myrtle Pearl Bartley and Lawrence David Robbins. She was employed as an accountant with US Foods retiring with 13 years of service.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 51 years, Robert Carl Wright; her son, Robert D. Wright and his wife Dianna and their children: Ashley, Alexander, Benjamin and Elizabeth; and a daughter, Joanne Wadleigh and her husband Gary, and their daughter, Meghan.

Sandy loved spending time with her friends and family, playing cards and board games, and celebrating life over a home cooked meal. She was a talented knitter who loved to make handmade gifts. She loved the mountains and watching the first snowfall each winter.

She lived a life well lived and will be celebrated at a gathering for friends and family at McLean’s Ole Time Café (418 W Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597) on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
