Dick was born July 10, 1944 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Ernest Presley and Grace Warner Presley. He was a graduate of Cary High School and was employed as a line supervisor with Carolina Power and Light retiring after many years of service. Dick was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and devoted husband and father.
Dick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Doris Presley; sons, Robby Rhodes (Paula), Jack Rhodes, Jr. (Jennifer Wygal) and Ricky Presley (Cathy); two special aunts, Christine Dover and Eva Jones; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11am Friday, February 5, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow the service at Apex Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
