Born November 1, 1962, Karen Faber was a loving mother, a compassionate friend and a caring family member. After almost three long years battling breast cancer her pain is now over. She was determined to win this fight not only for herself but as well as for her four children. She is now with her father in heaven drinking an endless supply of McDonald's sweet tea.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Faber.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Faber; sons, Dustin Faber and Gilbert Faber; daughters, Amanda Faber and Barbara Faber; brother, Wayne Faber; sister, Kathy Faber; niece Shelby Jordan; and nephew, Robert Jordan.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday, July 15, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. A Funeral Service will be held at noon on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Apex Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Apex Cemetery.
