Joseph Patrick Rossi

On January 29, 1928 in Hackensack, New Jersey, Joseph Pasquale Rossi was born to his parents, Joseph Rossi and Mary Herbert. With his middle name later changed to Patrick, he grew up, lived and worked in New Jersey all of his life until he retired to Sneads Ferry, NC in 1990. Most of his career was spent as a field service technician for Public Service Electric and Gas, the largest utility in New Jersey retiring in 1990.

Joseph is preceded in death by his second born son, Thomas. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Frances Rossi; sons and their wives, Mark and Kim of Chapel Hill, NC, Joseph of Barryville, NY and Michael and Diane Rossi of Apex, NC. He has ten grandchildren including Erin, Alison, Brian, Zach, Matthew, Jason, Colleen, Tom, Chris and Nicole as well as three great grandchildren, Hunter, Harper and Piper.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:30 PM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in the St. John Fisher Chapel, 632 Laurel Hill Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
