Evan Charles Garrett, 42, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011. He was born December 8, 1968, in Cook County, IL, the son of Frederick Charles Mueller and Merikay Davis. Evan married Denice Gersch on January 14, 2010. He was truly the love of her life.
Evan worked at Petroliance, LLC for 15 years. He was a loving stepfather to Logan Gersch. Evan had the kindest, sweetest, and loving soul that anyone who knew him would agree. He was a great husband and a loyal employee to his work as well as his family.
Survivors include his wife, his stepson, mother, Merikay V. Garrett, sister, Katie Garrett, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Duane H. Davis, uncle Gary Davis, and aunt, Marcia Sharp.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 3 PM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, starting at 2 PM until the time of the service.
