Elizabeth Diane Markham

Diane was born on December 5, 1952 in Durham, NC to the late, Billy and Frances Sauls. Diane loved her cats, dogs and her grandchildren. She enjoyed being with her family and crocheting and sitting outside. She loved coloring, shopping, watching Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI & General Hospital. She loved horror movies Children of the Corn, Sharknado and Jaws were some of her favorites.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Markham; and her brother Douglas Sauls.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara Glassman and her husband James; grandchildren, Zoie and Landin; Son, Christopher Markham and wife Cara and grandson, Logan; Sisters, Barbara Blackburn & Marie Sauls; brothers, Jerry, Donald and Linwood Sauls.

The family will receive friends and guests on the 14th day of February, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm at Apex Funeral Home located at 550 W Williams St. Apex, NC 27502. A funeral service will take place February 15th, 2022 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, Raleigh, NC.

We will receive family and friends at other times at the home of Tara & James Glassman located at 145 Village Bend Drive Fuquay Varina NC 27526.
