Douglas S. Cowley, 67, formerly of Charleston, WV passed away in Apex, NC on November 12, 2024. He was born on June 15, 1957 to the late Wilson and Helen Cowley.
Doug retired from Veolia North America in 2014 after 30+ years in the industry.
In addition to his parents, Doug is preceded in death by his sister Karen Lynn Hall and brothers Duaine and Larry Cowley.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Gina Fisher Cowley, daughter Lauren Jewell (Garry) and grandchildren Connor and Grayson Jewell. He is also survived by his sister Paulette Thomas and brother Todd Cowley.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 23 from 3:00pm to5:00pm at Apex Funeral Home on 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
