Dorothy Catherine Williams

Dorothy was born March 8, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Walter Stanley Winters and Helen Marie Turner Winters. She was a member of Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Earl Williams; son, John Walter Williams; sister, Lillian Helen Winters Umstead; brothers, Walter S. Winters, Jr., and John Frank Winters.

She is survived by son, M.E. ("Bud") Williams, Jr., and his wife Dasheila Kim Williams of Cary; daughter, Deborah Helen Buie Earp, and her husband, Johnny R. Earp, Jr. of Sanford; sister, Rita Marie Winters Malamed of Baltimore, MD; granddaughters, Danielle Kandice Williams Peterson and her husband Carl Andrew Peterson of Waxhaw, N.C., April Lynette Williams of Atlanta, GA, Dana Ashley Buie Adams and her husband Wesley Ryan Adams of Russellville, TN, Laura Williams and Natalie Williams of Marietta, GA; grandsons, M. E. ("Chip") Williams, III and wife, Adrienne Marie Williams of Holly Springs, and Geoffrey Kent Buie of Russellville, TN; great-granddaughters, Abigail Nicole Peterson and Lauren Alexis Peterson of Waxhaw, N.C., and Emili Angelina Williams of Atlanta, GA; and great-grandsons Kenneth Patrick Adams of Russellville, TN, and Hayden Lee Phillip Williams of Atlanta, GA.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex, N.C. 27502. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
