Rodney “Rod” Vangstad

Age 64, of Ramsey.

Died May 20, 2024.

Preceded in death by his father, Elroy; brother, Larry; niece, Megan.

Rod lived in Alaska for 33 years, following his passion for woodworking and restoring antique furniture. Rod was an avid reader and Sci-Fi fan and a great teammate for trivia.

Rod is survived by his mother, Jeannette; sister, Cindy (Joe) Marron; nieces, Andrea (Royce), Racheal (Rob); great-nephews, Layne, Finley and Bodi; also survived by countless extended relatives and friends.

Funeral Service 11:00 am Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home (552 East River Rd., Anoka) Visitation 10:00 am until time of service.

Interment St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Oak Grove
