Kevin was born July 8th, 1965 to Denis and Alice Snyder. The Clarkfield native attended Clarkfield High School and grew up with his brother, Brad, whom he had a close relationship with throughout his life. Kevin then graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a degree in Liberal Arts and a focus in sports medicine. He was involved in a host of activities, including football, baseball, and wrestling among others. Kevin worked many years in IT at Fraser until he retired early in his career due to his diagnosis with Sarcoidosis.
Kevin was loving, funny, and kind. He loved spending time with his wife Vicki of 25 years and son William and went wherever they dragged him to. Kevin always looked forward to “hanging out with the guys.” He enjoyed boating, golfing, trap shooting, playing cards and engaging in a good night of Bingo (Winners Only)! Kevin loved the Minnesota Gophers and, as a season ticket holder, attended many Wrestling and Football events. Kevin was a loyal friend, loved by many for his funny and outgoing personality. Everyone knew Kevin was in the room and truly enjoyed his quick wit. He was everyone’s backup when needed and usually the first call for neighbors, family, and friends alike.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents Denis and Alice (Hanson) Snyder and his brother Brad. He is survived by his wife Vicki Merritt, son William Snyder and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kevin’s happy, generous, loving, smiling spirit will truly be missed by his family, neighbors and friends.
