Memorial services for Robert Wayne Champion, 68 of Anniston will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Curtis Collett officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Mr. Champion passed away Wednesday at his residence.
Survivors include wife, Tammy Champion; daughters, Rose Rich (Rodney), Linda Thornton (Stacy), and Sheila Wade (Ronnie) all of Anniston; sons, Adam Champion (Melissa) and Bo Champion (Amanda) all of Oxford, Kenny Alexander (Kim) of Anniston and Billy Alexander (Whitney) of Oxford; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Fran Heifner (Billy), Patricia Bailey; brothers, Arthur, Jesse (Cricket), William (Bessie), Horace (Sonya), Kenneth, Randy, Jerry and Gene Champion and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Thornton, Michael Thornton, Koari Champion, Alex Champion, Matthew Rich and Kenny Alexander.
