Randal Andrew Ferguson

Funeral services for Mr. Randal Ferguson, 70, of Ohatchee, AL, will be Saturday, August 17th, 2024, 12:00 p.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Charles Key, Bro. Johnathan Heathcock, and Bro. Greg Jones officiating. Final resting place will follow at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to welcome friends at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Smith and her husband Benny; sons, Shane Ferguson and Tyler Ferguson; sister, Shaun Ferguson Winn and her husband Jeff; brother, Bart Ferguson and his wife Robin; grandchildren, Corey Ferguson, Brooklyn Ferguson, Aiden Christopher, Bryson Smith, Caitlyn Smith, Dawson Smith; great grandchildren, Lila Ferguson and Molly Ferguson; nieces and nephews, Sarah Wheeler and her husband Kent, Beau Winn and his wife Katie, Teasha Davis and her husband Kyle, Drew Ferguson and his wife Megan, Josh Johnston and his wife Vanessa, Toni Taylor, including a host of cousins and other family members.

Mr. Ferguson is preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Ferguson.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Kent Wheeler, Kyle Davis, Beau Winn, Scott Vaughn, John Proctor, Josh Johnston and Drew Ferguson.

Randal was a devoted husband, father, granddad "Papa", and so much more. If you had the pleasure to know him then you knew him as "Papa Ferg", "Ferg", or "Randy". You either loved him or you didn't; there was no in-between. His personality was infectiously filled with laughter, whit, and maybe even some $#!@. He enjoyed adventure, campfires and shiny lights. Never met a stranger and would do absolutely anything for anyone. His love may not have been shown in typical ways, but his love was true, deep, and meaningful.
